About the ArtistNora Smith uses a wide variety of media to express the light and colour of the Bahamas. Originally from England, Nora was trained as an architect and worked in that field in England and the Bahamas. A resident of the Bahamas for 15 years, Nora devotes her time entirely to art.
In addition to watercolour, torn paper collage and 3D models, she has also done a number of large-scale murals in Nassau. Nora has taught art and designed theatre sets. She won a Dansa Award for her staging of "The Doll's House". Nora has shown her work at numerous group and solo shows in the Bahamas. |
