Jacob Brillhart first brought his original art to us in early 2022. With a few small framed pieces, that quickly gained an appreciated audience. Almost three years later, his work has become some of the most sought after at Princess Street Gallery. Below he explains his concept and process in a brief statement about the five (5) new original pieces at PSG

New Paintings:

These five new paintings explore the architecture and townscape of Dunmore Town / Harbour Island. The work explores qualities of light, patina and memory, trying to understand the atmosphere of a place and "how it feels."

They are born out of sketches and photographs from time Brillhart has spent on the island. Each one is an original, drawn by hand in pencil on Arches watercolor paper, and then painted with several washes of watercolor.

** All work is framed with solid Walnut wood - milled and assembled by Brillhart in his workshop.
